Here are a few selected photos from the 2024 Boston Marathon.
I decided to highlight individuals as opposed to "multitudes" this year.
A truck with press photographers always goes by just before the man and woman lead runners, which were Talbi and Bates, respectively, as they ran past me.
Every year I'm impressed with the the Duo teams, each one consisting of a runner with a permanent physical, intellectual, or vision impairment and a pusher who assists the runner throughout the race.
I took the next to last photo to show this runner's forceful effort to finish the race quickly, only to notice his legs - see last photo - after he'd run by. It is uplifting to watch all the marathon runners, and to see the strong spirit with which they compete.
